BILEN-5G Smart Maintenance Platform for Factories

The BILEN-5G project developed a 5G Smart Maintenance Platform integrated with the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). This platform enhances real-time data collection, maintenance, and process optimisation decision-making through a closed-loop system, where an AI model analyses the collected data and sends commands back to the machines based on the output. Key findings include reduced latency, better interoperability via AAS, and positive end-user feedback on usability and customisation, all contributing to improved operational efficiency.
