A mobile data acquisition device is integrated into a milling machine and is directly connected to a variety of sensors that measure selected parameters directly in the milling process. The use case aims at recording both parameters regarding the overall condition of the milling machine as well as the consumption of resources (electrical power, cooling fluid, etc.) for analysis purposes.
