Ultra Low Latency M2M Communications for 5G enabled Fabrication Systems
Established in 2014, RiaStone represents a state-of-the-art greenfield in-line production facility exclusively dedicated to crafting IKEA Tableware. Its production process integrates various components, including Silos for Ceramic raw Matter storage, Iso-Static Presses, Intermediate Cure Warehouse, Glazing Lines, Tunnel Ovens (Kilns), Quality Control Lines, Semi-automated Packing Lines, and the Storing Warehouse.
The main use case consists of collecting images of produced tableware, which is then processed in a YOLO V5 deployed at an edge infrastructure. This will detect product defects and inform the production line's subsequent systems about product quality.
