Remote Health Care Services

use case image

Main goal of this proposal is to develop and make a real-world pilot regarding remote care by providing immersive equipment (esp. MR/AR headsets) for seamless interactions between a remote medical expert and the patient that needs specialised diagnosis and treatment in the rehabilitation domain. For this pilot to work, future B5G technologies will be leveraged to provide high-quality immersive media with very low latency between the remote and local sites.

Main outcome is the development of an advanced and 5G-supported telerehabilitation system 5G4Reha, which is based on Nissatech D2Rehab system for performing rehabilitation exercises which measure biomechanics of the movements.
