The “Situational Awareness Framework Enabling Robust Emergency Response for Urban Flood Warnings” (SAFER-FLOW) Vertical Experiment enhances Public Protection and Disaster Response (PPDR) by integrating advanced beyond 5G technologies and applications for handling demanding flooding scenarios.
The experiment uses the city of Aveiro, Portugal, as the integration and demonstration testbed, combining the availability of the IMAGINE-B5G Portuguese facility site with the vulnerability to complex urban flooding scenarios that characterise the city of Aveiro.
Overall, the proposed experiment showcases the effectiveness of OneSource’s SAFER-FLOW platform and validate the IMAGINE-B5G infrastructure for disaster management events.
