IMAGINE-B5G

Multi-functional remotely operated boat

RESCUE-5G proposes an incremental but also user-driven methodology that involves the full participation of all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle by performing different types of tests and activities. In this way, RESCUE-5G's main objective is to "provide a system capable of revolutionizing critical surveillance and rescue applications in ports with a USV leveraging the capabilities of the 5G network, to obtain low latency for real-time inspection and surveillance activities of the water surface and surroundings of the port of Valencia” as well as taking measures from the USV for calculating the 5G signal-to-noise ratio footprint to ensure optimal 5G coverage.

This will be achieved technically, and the project results will be in line with the expectations and needs of the stakeholders. In addition, RESCUE-5G will contribute to the Open Call with experiments based on AI models for real-time detection and surveillance using advanced FHD image recognition, improving efficiency and accuracy.

In terms of development strategy, an agile philosophy will be embraced, complemented by a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. This combined approach aims primarily to enhance both tracking and the efficiency of deliverables, while always ensuring code integrity.
